Taking a planet-first approach
Adapting to a low-carbon economy
Our ambition is to be a global leader in sustainability, which is why we want to support our clients in the transition to a low-carbon world, lead by example in our own operations, and share our lessons learned along the way with the rest of the world.

Nature is vital for the health of our planet, our climate and our economy. 60% of the world’s GDP has a dependency on nature2, yet as many as one million animal and plant species are threatened with extinction3. That’s why nature is an important part of our sustainability strategy. It’s also why we’re contributing and committing to new frameworks like the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), helping our clients explore opportunities connected to nature, and working with partners such as the UBS Global VisionariesUBS Global Visionaries to support nature-positive solutions. All of this is underpinned by our thought leadership, designed to deepen our understanding of the risks and opportunities presented by the biodiversity challengebiodiversity challenge.
